The creators of the Facebook group that helped Rage Against The Machine‘s ‘Killing In The Name‘ reach number one in 2009 are back and this time are campaigning for Nirvana‘s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit‘.
What’s the point? To stop those X-Factor losers from getting to number one of course! And to help the cause, Nirvana’s record label are re-releasing the track as a limited edition 7” inch single!
A message posted yesterday on the label website read:
“We’ve heard about the campaign to get ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ by Nirvana for Christmas Number One in the UK (supporting the children’s charity Rhythmix) and it looks like the label will re-release the single 7″ as a limited edition for the fans!”
